Job Description Summary
A full time, year round management position; the Landscaping Manager will be responsible for providing services in the following areas:
Job Description
Oversee maintenance of all grounds at client sites in the region, including snow removal when necessary.
Oversee the landscaping crew and review work on site.
Order job materials and maintain inventory.
Work closely with subcontractors to coordinate and ensure clients procedures are safely followed
Meet with customers on-site, and follow up with customers upon job completion to assess quality.
Oversee clients' special landscaping requests & projects.
Support C&W Services accounts and Account Managers.
Ensure safety and compliance.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
2-3 years previous landscaping experience preferably in a supervisory capacity.
Supervisory/Management experience in the janitorial field;
Commercial Lawn Chemical Applicator license and certification required.
Valid Driver's License required.
Knowledge of planting seasons, soil and other environmental issues.
English fluency is required with Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency preferred
Operational knowledge of all pruning and horticultural equipment.
Operational knowledge of all landscaping equipment, including tractors, mowers, hedge trimmers, and edgers.
Superior customer service skills and interpersonal skills;
Proficient in Microsoft applications (word, excel), Kronos and Payroll Processing.
Required Physical Abilities
Grounds keeping work by its nature requires physical abilities to include lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly. Full dexterity is required including bending, kneeling, twisting, fine motor skills with hands and fingers, full rotation of the head and neck. Ability to see, hear and be alert while operating equipment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
